Skater Hockey Club

Every Saturday, two of our committee members volunteer to run the Bulldogs desk. They take any fees due, answer questions and generally help with organising the training session. It can be quite difficult to work out who is actually at training, and collect money from the non-standing order players. Sometimes they have to chase around the sports centre at the end of training to find players and get everyone’s fees up to date. So to help this, our committee has decided that everyone should check in at our front desk when they arrive. Players on standing orders will be ticked off the list (so we know you are there for safety reasons) and the non-standing order players can pay at that time.

It is important that everyone pays before they play. If you don’t bring your money, you might not be allowed to play. Sorry for this, but it was becoming very difficult for the front desk volunteers. Thanks in advance for your help.  

Welcome to May’s Chairman’s Blog, and finally the sun has come out which means the hall will be getting warmer and players will dehydrate quicker. So please make sure that you bring along plenty of water with you. Some of our younger players will be getting out and about on your BMX bikes, skateboards and rec skates. Please be careful as we still have games and can do without any injuries (Ricci!).

Can I please remind players if you can’t make any training or matches, please can you inform your relevant manager?

The annual club AGM will be upon us in July. Please can I encourage all parents and players to attend and hear what’s been going on this year? If you feel you can bring something to the club then please come along. For further information please ask one of the current committee members.
