Club History The Banbury Bulldogs started back in 1999 to fill the void left by the Saturday Roller Disco during the summer holidays. The Cavalier Hockey Club, as they were then known, was founded by Darren Capel, Michael Slater and David Sykes-Tucker. The Club took off within the summer holidays and we were forced to find a different time slot on a Saturday when the roller disco re-started. Unfortunately, David and Michael have moved on leaving Darren as the remaining founder to carry on with the Club. Banbury Bulldogs Skater Hockey Club was given a £5,000 Awards for All Grant to buy new safety equipment for the players and also to send people on Referee, Coaching and First Aid Courses.
